アイスランド人との手紙
Sigtryggyer Berg Sigmarssonという名前のドイツ在住アイスランド人の友達がいるんですが、彼はStilluppsteypaというヨーロッパのエレクトロニカ系音楽ではわりと人気のアーティストさんなんですね。もともと私はこのSiggiのファンで、めちゃくちゃカッコイイ音楽を作る人なので憧れていたんですが、去年の年末に来日してライヴをやったときに紹介されてオシャベリしたら気が合ったので、彼がドイツに帰ってからもメールのやりとりをしているんです。
毎回お互いに超長文で、自分勝手に趣味をぶちまけあって「でも周りはわかってくれないんだよね……」とか言い合っているんだけど、趣味嗜好が本当に似てて恐いです。サイコキラー、カニバリズム、拷問、ホロコースト、ナショナリズム、サッカー、ドキュメンタリーフィルム等々、話題が尽きることがないんですけど、日本人とアイスランド人がこんなメールのやり取りをしてるっていうのがそもそもおかしいと思いました。最近のメールをちょっとご紹介。（私が送ったメールにSiggiがレスしてます）
前のメールでクラウス・キンスキ話をしていたことから『マルキ・ド・サドのジュスティーヌ』好き！→ソドム120日最高だよね！→パソリーニのソドム120日みた？（中略）ヤプー話……という経緯です。これでもメール本文のほんの一部で（笑）、原一男監督『ゆきゆきて神軍』の話、チャンピオンズリーグの話、高原選手の話、ノルウェーの話、Siggiの卒業論文の話などなど多岐にわたっています。以下、Siggiのレスを緑色で。
I like "Marquis De Sade's Justine",because I love the literature of Marquis De Sade (especiarlly "les 120 Journees de Sodome". There is every type of vice!!!).
WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this must be some coincident, it seems that we have A LOT in common!HA!!!! i like also the literature of Marquis De Sade. i must say that i dont believe this!HA! you like his writing aswell! that is just AMAZING!!! i am all happy to have met you!
did you see the film italian director Pasolini made on "les 120 journess de sodome"? i have that on tape, i really like that film! i have quite a few Pasolini movies, you like his work??? i remember seeing "les 120..." for the first time, i was like 17 years old. it was some experience!

So, I read a book named "KA CHI KU JIN YAPOO". It's a scatology novel, but so academic. In this story, the white race is a human being, the black race is a half human being, and the yellow race (like us Japanese) is a domestic animal named "YAPOO"!!! It's so interesting that the author of this novel is of course Japanese, but he wrote Japanese like as a beef cattle, pig, or horse...how masochistic!!!! And in Japan this novel sell well. I want that this novel will be translated in English or other language. Who read this novel will think "How Japanese is crazy!!!!"...it's interesting :)
yes i am all for learning more about the japanese culture, i am all for it! i really loved being in japan it was like i have probably told you before a dream come true... there is something that i really admire about the japanese!!!!
そんなSiggiですが、彼の作る音楽は本当にイイので、興味をもった方は買ってあげてください（笑）。これとかこれとか特にオススメ。
